If we see the sign up for the Texas BBQ truck we drive in with anticipation. Quality food, Natural Raised Meats, custom made sauces. Consistent quality. I highly recommend.
This was the second time I have tried them. Last time I had the pulled pork and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time I tried the brisket, which was excellent, and a recent addition to the menu... a lamb chop. The chop was amazing! It was so tender I didn't need a knife, the meat just fell off the bone. I would have had 2 but they had only 1 left. Found out that you can call ahead and they will hold your order. Oh yeah, they are great people too.
Great food, great service. I always go out of my way to go there if I'm traveling near Parksville or Coombs. Highly recommend their burnt ends, or chorizo bites!
Traveled here and moved not long ago to the island, decided to try this small bbq restaurant. A must try for anyone passing through. A must try for the BBQ lover. Try the pull pork and beef brisket, they were delicious. The ribs are a good choice too as they are super tender and melt off the bone. The added sauce are a nice way to add more flavor and kick to the meat too.
Beef brisket is the best I have ever had. Wish they weren't so far away from us. Tried to find a place that does brisket here in Victoria. But no where compare.
Great, great food. My wife and I make a pilgrimage to Coombs/Errington area from Nanaimo at least once a month to stop in for a bite to eat. The brisket sandwich, bacon ends, bacon wrapped sausages and pork ribs are our go to dishes. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.
Best BBQ Burgers and Ribs in Coombs! Traditional Texas style BBQ with real hand made burgers, delicious thick sliced bacon and home made Barbeque Sauces. Only 18 including tax for two deluxe bacon burgers. Don't eat cheese burgers near coombs until you've tried this BBQ food truck. We eat at this epic BBQ joint then get icecream at Goats on the roof and check out cathedral grove nearbye. 5 stars for taste. Affordable burgers. Friendly and cool owners.
